MineWolf Systems Concludes Mechanical Workshop 2008

MineWolf Systems held its annual Mechanical Mine Clearance Workshop for its partners and customers during 23-25 September. The theme of the workshop was “Project Planning for Mechanical Demining” and covered a wide range of topics including  definition of requirements, tender writing, project management and coordination, resource planning, training,  logistics, machine accreditation, and technical support.

The Workshop included inspection of MineWolf Systems’ new production and training facility in Stockach, Germany, followed by a live demonstration of the MineWolf in action: fibre board tests followed by a remote controlled detonation of a live anti-tank mine with 6.2kg TNT in front of the MineWolf Tiller. Special thanks to our volunteer from SRSA, Emilio König, who agreed to sit inside the armored MineWolf cab during the detonation: no harm done!
