UK Defence Minister visits MineWolf Systems

MineWolf Systems was delighted to host a visit of the UK Minister of Defence Equipment, Support and Technology the Rt Hon Peter Luff MP during the Defence Vehicle Demonstration (or DVD as it is better known) which took place at the Millbrook Proving ground 21/22 Jun 2012.

MineWolf Systems were exhibiting at the show in the Off Road demonstration area which enabled visitors to get their hands on the equipment and take part in representative challenges. The MineWolf stand was amongst only a handful chosen to host a ministerial visit during the two day show. Mark Chapman seized this occasion to brief the Minister on the MW240's capabilities and the overall delivery of a project in 2011 comprising of 10 systems and various working tool attachments which was delivered on time and budget. These platforms have since been successfully deployed in Afghanistan by the British Army.

The Minister then had a chance to test his skills using the robotic arm, but tactfully he declined and instead gave the opportunity to his hard working Parliamentary Private Secretary!
