German Army shows how Mini MineWolf clears IEDs from routes in Afghanistan
10.01.2012
The German Army (Bundeswehr) has just published a video about their Route Clearance Package in Afghanistan. The Route Clearance Package consists of a Mini MineWolf (MW240), a Fuchs command vehicle and remote-controlled detection vehicle, which deploy in convoy together for the clearance of routes from improvised explosive devices (IEDs). The Mini MineWolf, complete with its robotic arm and gripperbucket is used to clear any explosive devices found, enabling the troops to travel safely along whichever route they have been deployed.
