UNOPS contract in Sudan successfully completed

After a very successful 19 months of operations throughout Southern Sudan the current UNOPS contract came to an end on the 28th February 2010. During the contract the MW 370 team as worked from Kajo Keji in the South-East of the country up to Deim Zubier in the North-West and just about everywhere in between.

The team has proved to be resourceful, productive and manoeuvrable asset for the UN throughout the contract. It has provided mechanical support on a myriad of tasks for Mine Action organisations including Norwegian People’s Aid, Armor Group and the Mines Advisory Group. The intention now is to move the machine North to the Blue Nile State to continue operations.
