MineTech Demining Team Completes Mechanical Training at MineWolf System’s Training Centre

MineWolf and Mini MineWolf Training successfully completed by MineTech Mechanics in Stockach, Germany

Four participants from MineTech International successfully completed mechanical training at MineWolf Systems’ global manufacturing, logistics and training centre in Stockach, Germany.

MineTech currently operates 1 Mini MineWolf and 1 MineWolf in Sudan but will double their fleet for the beginning of the next demining season, which is expected to start in October/November 2008.

The purpose of the course was to train the mechanics to maintain the MineWolf and Mini MineWolf during humanitarian demining operations in the field. Topics included training on hydraulics, electronics, service and repair, troubleshooting and practical repair exercises. The MineWolf Systems instructor, Ingo Streicher, is a Senior Technical Advisor experienced with both MineWolf and Mini MineWolf operations in Sudan, Croatia, Bosnia and Jordan.

Upon successful completion of a practical and theoretical exam, all 4 attendees were presented with official certification. Congratulations to all!
