At MineWolf Systems we manufacture all our machines at our production facility in Stockach, Germany. Our highly skilled workforce designs our products according to the highest standards and each machine is built using the latest engineering and manufacturing know-how and customised to suit specific requirements. Combined with the practical expertise gained from day-to-day demining operations worldwide, we can ensure the machines not only fulfil the highest production quality standards but also correspond to the operational requirements of our customers in the field.
All parts for our machines and spare parts are sourced from recognised quality suppliers and are built according to highest quality standards to operate under heavy conditions. Only commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) components are used, so that easy service and supply of spare parts can be guaranteed worldwide.
All MineWolf products are developed to respond to the growing needs for mechanical devices in demining. Consequently, the MineWolf product line has been designed relying on proven and mature technologies. The basic machine has been in use for many years on all continents, primarily for resource recovery and land clearance in the forestry industry. As a result, the highest reliability and a functioning support and service infrastructure can be ensured.
All MineWolf machines use the unique toolbox system, comprising exchangeable working heads (tiller or flail) to enable the operator to apply the right mechanical tool for specific tasks.
The patented open tiller design compensates for the limitations of existing systems and shows unprecedented results when used against both anti-personnel and anti-tank mines. The basket type segment structure allows the mine blast to expand through the tiller to avoid or reduce damage. At the same time, the MineWolf achieves comprehensive ground penetration; at a clearance speed of approximately 1 km/h the soil is impacted by the chisels every 40 mm and thus guarantees that even the smallest anti-personnel mines are destroyed.
The flail attachment mounted on the MineWolf machines produces reliable results and proves effective against heavy anti-tank mines and on rocky ground.
All of the MineWolf machines can also be used as a platform for attaching the other multi-purpose attachments to carry out IED removal or other heavy engineering tasks.
An additional advantage is the use of direct-drive system instead of hydraulics. This allows the majority of the 367 Deutz diesel engine´s power to directly drive the tiller up to 600 rpm.
In case of unknown mine threat, all the necessary functions of the MineWolf machines can be remotely controlled to reduce operating risks:
speed, direction, handling of tiller/flail head, depth control, and rotor speed.
Safety for the field operators is paramount and MineWolf machines provide the ultimate in safety features including:
- An option for remote-control,
- armoured steel tested against AP and AT mine detonations up to 15 kg of TNT,
- safety-glass tested against armour-piercing ammunition.automatic fire-suppression system,
- fuel tank detonation-prevention system,
- V-shaped armoured undercarriage,
- biometrically tested cabin with 4-point safety belt as well as protection against extreme temperatures, dust and noise.
