Patented Design

Open tiller

The root of the MineWolf´s success is its patented tiller technology. The open basket design allows a mine blast to dissipate through the tiller, avoiding or minimising damage. Its modular design also allows easy replacement of chisels.

Direct drive

An additional advantage is the use of direct-drive system instead of hydraulics. This allows the majority of the 367 Deutz diesel engine´s power to directly drive the tiller at 300 to 600 rpm.

Defined by rotation speed, ground speed and clearance depth, the MineWolf tiller operation guarantees an effective and reliable clearing process which is unobtainable using common flail systems. A tight predefined penetration pattern makes sure even the smallest AP mines are hit to a depth of over 30cm and 25cm (MineWolf and Mini MineWolf, respectively).

Toolbox Concept

The MineWolf and Mini MineWolf demining machines can be fitted with an interchangeable tiller or flail attachments to deal with varying mine threats. For conditions where AP mines are present with the occasional AT mine, the tiller attachment is used. For areas with heavy AT mine contamination or shallow bedrock, the flail would be used.

Remote control

In case of unknown mine threat, all necessary functions of the MineWolf can be remotely controlled  to reduce operating risks: speed, direction, handling of tiller/flail head, depth control, and rotor speed.
