Pearson Engineering debuts recent MineWolf acquisition
Pearson Engineering proudly presented new capability from its MineWolf business at Security and Policing 2016.
Whilst MineWolf has many strong links to humanitarian mine clearance, the event provided an opportunity to promote the Counter-IED and Explosive Ordnance Disposal capability provided by the MW50 and MW240 platforms.
The MW50 platform in particular is optimised for operations in urban and combat environments. It is compact and easy to manoeuver and can be towed behind a 4×4 for maximum mobility. Based on proven MineWolf technology with a selection of detachable tools, it is robust and versatile for the most demanding conditions.
Nicola Irving, Head of Marketing and Communications said “We saw an excellent opportunity to confidently promote our new business to the market at Security and Policing. Threats in a security context are becoming more widespread and unpredictable. The MW50, also known as the Micro MineWolf, is configured to handle complexity, reducing human exposure to life-threating tasks. We were pleased to meet with a broad variety of delegations and to establish our position in the market.Back to News
